1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by AlpineHost.

AlpineHost follows operational and security practices based on internationally recognized standards, including ISO/IEC 27001, to enhance service reliability and risk management.

2. Services

Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

• Maintain account security
• Apply updates and patches (VPS/Dedicated)
• Prevent unauthorized access

4. Payments

• Services are prepaid
• Non-payment results in suspension
• Chargebacks may result in immediate termination

5. Acceptable Use

All services are subject to the Acceptable Use Policy.

Violations may result in suspension or termination.

6. Security Responsibilities

AlpineHost:

• Secures infrastructure and network

Customer:

• Secures applications and data

7. Data & Backups

Customers are responsible for maintaining backups.

AlpineHost is not liable for data loss or corruption.

8. Incident Handling

We may take immediate action to mitigate security risks, including service suspension.

9. Limitation of Liability

Liability is limited to the amount paid for services.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Indemnification

Customers agree to indemnify AlpineHost against claims arising from misuse of services.

11. Compliance

Customers must comply with:

• Applicable laws
• Data protection regulations
• AlpineHost policies

12. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law.

13. Updates

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance.
